My mind traveled to a hero this morning. Possibly because my daughter was drawing yesterday and one of the Marvel characters was her mission. She captured the image quite nicely on the sketch paper she was using. Looking at the drawing, I took a moment to think...

In this life we do have heroes. At first glance you may not see their super power, but it's there. Throughout my life I can think back to many people that have influenced me with their courage, bravery, and noble qualities. In a world that certainly has its share of " bad" look for those genuine super heroes. They are out there each day shining their light among us. Allowing the Holy Spirit to guide and direct them. You just might be one of them yourself?

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
