We could learn from the geese...

Studying and embracing the best practices of geese.

Friday morning is here and we are blessed to be a part of it!

As the weather gets a bit cooler and the daylight grows shorter, I couldn't help but to think of the geese. It's about time for them to take flight and head for a warmer climate. Geese fascinate me, and there is so much we could learn from them...if we mimicked their actions.

Sometime ago I became intrigued by geese. Let me try to break it down.

Think about it, they take turns concerning the big tasks, along with sharing leadership responsibilities. They fly in a v and when the lead goose gets tired it simply drops back into formation, and another takes it's place. If a goose is struggling or hurt, and are grounded, geese don't leave geese behind. Two will drop down and stay with the struggling goose. Not to mention, they honk from behind to cheer on those in front of them.

I absolutely love when I am blessed with a flock of geese flying overhead for me to see. So just maybe, if we are open, we can learn something from these amazing creatures of God. I encourage you to look to the sky today Champions, you just might encounter a flock of incredible strength, power, and beauty. Be blessed!

And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Galatians 6:9
