The direction I was given this morning by God was wanting more! At first I thought hum? However, it always amazes me, once a thought is given, placed in my spirit, how it ignites from there. Initially I thought, wanting more what? Material things? Sleep? Quiet time? My brain said, "nope" that's not where God is taking you this morning.
Talking to myself, I received...
simmer down and listen, he will provide. I said, ok self. Then it happened. Wanting more! Being so hungry and thirsty for seeking God more. Let me ask you a question, what do you want more of? Lean in, the things of this world are temporary and will truly never provide us with that completeness that only God can. God is eternal. There's nothing wrong with wanting nice things but that kind of want and desire should take the back burner to the satisfaction found in seeking the Great I Am!
When our wants and desires line up with God's perfect plan for our lives it's an amazing experience. Search your heart today. What are you wanting more of? Does it glorify God or does it glorify your ego? Does it scream look at me? The I, me, my, mine, syndrome. Or does it give God the glory?
Fun fact, it's all his anyways. Every last bit of it. I challenge you as I am challenging myself, WANT more, SEEK more, of God's goodness and then you will be fully satisfied. Bam!
