You may have remembered singing this song in Sunday school when you were younger. The song actually came to fruition in 1950 /1960. There is some history there. I'll let you look that up when you have a moment.
However, this morning, I wanted to speak to the light living in each one of us. When you strike a match in the darkest of rooms, light is revealed. Each day we have a choice to shine or fizzle. Somedays, we might even lack a fizzle. I've come to realize that my feelings should have no bearing on the light shining in me. When God resides inside, the light is always on! Are we showing those around us the outward signs of an inward happening? The cool thing is, one little light at a time can change the world because of the one who created the world.
Don't hide your light. Shine on Champions!
