Pausing and reflecting this morning.
During my prayer time this week, " The Waiting Room " has been heavy on my spirit. If you've ever sat specifically in a waiting room, depending on what you're waiting for, it can bring on an entirely different level of anxiety. Waiting in an emergency room, a doctors office, most of us have been there a time or two. There is many waiting rooms in this life. Those were just a couple.
This morning, I'm speaking of that spiritual waiting room. You know, when you've prayed to God, and it then seems time stands still with no response to your prayer? During those times I have to remind myself that the waiting room isn't a bad thing. God's plan is perfect and has a purpose. His ways are not our ways. His thoughts are not our thoughts.
Champions, if you are currently sitting in that waiting room, trust him.
Lean in... While your waiting, be busy about his work. It makes the time so much sweeter.
I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!
