Hey there Champions! Checking in tonight with everyone, it's been a bit.
The hubby and I went to see a baseball play off game for one of our grandsons tonight. The game came with much excitement. Little humans, giving it their all. Up one inning and down the next. We didn't come out with the win on the score board, but it's all a matter of perspective.
Yes, my heart broke for my grandson as he was upset over the loss of the game And the end of a season. As I wiped his tears with the sleeve of my jacket, I couldn't help but think 🤔
Oh sweet boy, this life gives many ups and downs. Yours has just begun.
Don't get me wrong, I would have taken the pain he was feeling if I could have, but it is part of the journey he will walk here on earth. As we were standing on the field, saying our goodbyes for the night...
I couldn't help but thank God for the in betweens. Those precious moments we share with our loved ones, sometimes it's just a very much needed hug given to a handsome brown eyed ten year old boy.
Lean in>> love on your tribe. Be grateful for family, for friends. A day will come when those moments become memories. Make them count!

Did I share, he was all decked out at the game tonight with his proud Gpop tshirt? The tears shed over tonight's loss by the little guy will soon fade into a memory, but the hugs and the bond of family after the game will never fade! Live for the in betweens Champions! Hugs to you all!
