Stop worrying and fretting. Quit trying to control things that are out of your control and trust God's timing to take care of it.
In the quietness of the morning, be still. Listen for that still small voice to give you peace and direction as you begin your day.
As I sit in the stillness of the morning with the house quiet and my mind ready to receive what my Heavenly Father wants me to absorb this morning... just be still, resonates with my spirit. I don't know about you, but once my day kicks into high gear, being still certainly isn't my first thought. That is why I cherish my quiet morning moments with God. Champions, we often are searching for answers to questions that we ask but are so busy with the daily hustle that we don't take the time to pause to hear that the answer has been given. My prayer for you and me both this morning is that we will take the time to hush for a moment and listen to what the Lord has to say. The one that can calm a storm with a mere sentence. I don't know about you, but that's the God I need in my life! Just be still.
And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
