Resentment

Bitter indignation at having been treated unfairly.

Saturday is upon us Champions! How is our personal inventory doing this morning? Is your mind focused on things above? I had to hit the pause button this morning and reflect and release myself. Today let's talk about a tuffy.

This one will suck the life right out of you. "Resentment "

Oh, it starts off with us feeling justified. We were done wrong. In our mind we have it all figured out. They did this to me! I didn't do anything to them! And on and on and on!

Let's break it down...

Resentment is like drinking poison and then waiting for the person you are holding resentment towards to die!

Sound harsh? It is dag nabbit! Why do we do that to ourselves? I am going to ask you to do something with me this morning. Take a moment in prayer ask God to reveal anything, anyone that you're holding resentment towards, then give it up! Here's the thing, do not pick it back up! Lift your head, clear your mind and body of that poison. Tell the enemy he is a liar and enjoy the release! God, wins! Love wins! You win! On your mark, get set, GO!

Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, even as Christ has forgiven you.

Ephesians 4 31- 32
