This morning, real friends came to my mind. Those friends that are there through the good, the bad, and everything in between. The friends that know what you are saying when you haven't even said a word. The friends that stick closer to you than a brother. Boy, I'm certainly thankful for those honest to goodness, tried and true friends. I truly believe they are special miracles from God. Reading the post thus far, you probably were able to think about a friend in your life that fits the aforementioned attributes?
Now I'm going to flip the script a bit.
One simple question...
Are you that friend to others?
I got to tell you, it seemed like I had an epiphany this morning. My thoughts went to how can I be that friend for others? I want that in my life. Living each day to be "that" friend. To stifle judgment, to be available, and love unconditionally. Don't get me wrong, I think all in all, I'm a pretty good friend. I would bet you are too. However, I want to be a pretty great friend. Maybe you can relate and maybe this friend thing doesn't amount to a hill of beans to you?
