Overthinking

The act of dwelling on or overanalyzing something to the extent of causing anxiety or worry.

With the rising of the sun, may your day be full of hope and peace Champions!

Jumping into the deep end this morning with both feet Champions. A topic that I believe we have all dealt with at some point.

Overthinking...

As I pondered the process, the energy wasted, the anxiety brought on by overthinking, I was left exhausted. Just thinking about overthinking is depressing. So, what do we do when our minds want to work overtime on things that may very well never come to fruition? The answer is so simple but yet we have to do it.

Dig into God's word. Connect with him in prayer and keep our minds focused on things above.

When we feel overthinking is starting to show it's ugly head, bounce your thoughts. Take your mind to something positive. Ask God to give you what you need to move past that moment of overthinking. We live in a time where there is so much. Sometimes, just a deep breath is what is needed. Stay connected to the vine and keep your chin up. God is on the thrown and remind yourself, that this too shall pass. Be blessed sweet friends.

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

Phillipians 4:8
