Top of the morning to you Champions! Today is brand new. As we begin to embrace the day let us remember to take it one step at a time.
As I was reflecting upon this topic this morning, it brought me back to that old childhood story of "The tortoise and the hare!"
Slow and steady wins the race. We live in a world that moves at a rapid pace. Crazy thing is, if we aren't careful, we can get caught up in making some pretty bad decisions from impulse. That brings me back to one step at a time. Everything doesn't require us to complete it at the speed of lightning. Truth is, somethings just take time. Don't get me wrong forward progress should be what we set our sights on. One step at a time. Putting one foot in front of the other and walking in the will of God. Each day is a new opportunity to walk with a pep in our step and a purpose in our hearts. Claim the victory one day at a time, one step at a time! A journey of 1000 miles begins with the first step!
Keep steady my steps according to your promise, and let no iniquity get dominion over me.
