Nosey, much?

Overly curious, getting too involved in other people's business. Possibly with an attitude of being judgmental.

Ouch!

Saturday morning goodness and grace Champions! Be a blessing today!

This morning is a toe stepper. Trust and believe, I'm saying ouch right on along with the next person. Touchy topic, maybe? So let's dive in. Genuine concern for another is very different than trying to be all up in their business. Let's face it. We all have things that are less than favorable on any given day that we really don't want to share or to be broadcasted. Additionally, we all have those Gladys Cravettes in our lives. Champions, keeping it very real this morning. There is a huge difference in genuine care and concern and just being plain old fashioned nosey. Here's the thing, being nosey comes from all angels, it can happen from friends, family members, neighbors. If we aren't careful we can fall into the being nosey trap. Social media is a nosey party! Closing with this...learn to step away from conversations that cross the line from concern to just flat out nosey bordering gossip potential. Flip the script and be the difference in a world that needs a new normal. Together, one step at a time...we can bring back loving our neighbor instead of trying to find the dirt on them. Over and out!

“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.

Matthew 7:1-5
