No Short Cuts

Instead of searching for an accelerated way of doing or achieving something, investing the time, energy, and patience it takes to achieve the results that lasts.

Monday morning blessings to you and yours Champions! May you take the steps necessary today to get the results that last and aren't temporary.

Wow, is what I have to begin with today. No short cuts was laid on my heart this morning. I gave this some thought. It is true that we live in a time of instant gratification. We want what we want, when we want it, and we want it now. I have fallen in that trap myself on different occasions. Yes, I said trap, because it's just that. The quick fix, the quickest way, in more times than enough isn't always the best way or the way that lasts through the fires we face. Why do we follow the latest fads, the coolest trends? Just a question I asked myself this morning. We are living in a time where we follow far more than we lead. I'm not certain who needs to hear this today, but invest the time. Remember that saying? Anything worth having is worth working for. That hasn't changed. I encourage you today to follow the one that doesn't take short cuts. The one that has a perfect plan for your life and mine. Take the narrow path, you will be, oh so glad you did!

Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Matthew 7: 13-14
