Happiest of mornings to you Champions! Have you given some thought this morning to what your needs are for the day? Some of you may have already said as you were shuffling to the kitchen with one eye open, that you were in need of coffee. I say that in jest but can we relate? Let's break this thing down this morning...
As human beings in the physical state we do have certain needs. We need shelter, food, water, clothing etc. these are a given
Our needs go much deeper. If we want to be healthy mind, body, soul and spirit we NEED to be connected to the one who created us. Who better to supply our needs than the one that made us? Seems like a no brainer. But we battle every day or I know I do with giving God complete dominion to supply what I/we need. We think we know what we need, right? There have been many times in my life where I have confused a need with a want. Can anyone relate to that one? We are emotional beings and sometimes that can get us sidetracked. We have the desire to feel connected and contributing to something. We strive for certainty with variety to keep us engaged and stimulated. We have the need to feel like we are part of something and growing. Too often we over complicate what we actually need with what we want!
Champions, look up! If you are battling need versus want look up! Clearly the bible tells us that God will supply our needs! We get it twisted because we fail to remember the second part, according to HIS riches in glory by Christ Jesus! If you have a need this morning, bring it before His throne, lay it at His feet and watch the Master work! We have not because we ask not. Walk today in victory. Seek to determine your needs opposed to your wants and rest knowing they will be met!
Be bold, be courageous, be kind and rock your day! You may be just what someone else needs!
But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
