"Oh happy day " Champions! Every pun intended. Those three words are in a popular song. The words after that, when Jesus washed my sins away. Did that strike a chord? Today let's tap into music and how it is a part of our daily lives. We learn through song. We memorize through song. We laugh through song. We cry through song. We work through song. We dance through song. We sleep through song. A song can instantly remind us of a particular time, event or stage in our life.
My question this morning is, do we praise through song? Do we give God the glory He so deserves? A question, I had to ponder myself this morning.
True praise. Total abandonment! Thankful and genuine praise! I have come to realize what we put into our minds, our hearts, good or bad is what ultimately comes out in our day to day actions.
Praising God is a great way to begin each new day! Through song is a gift we have been given! "Music" is the cherry on top!
I learned some time ago to choose wisely as to what I was allowing in my spirit because it had a huge impact on my life, my moods, my actions. I'm not sure what your musical preference is... but appreciate the gift of music that we all have been blessed with! I challenge you to acknowledge the Creator and praise Him today through song for the gift He gave us...Music!
What we allow to enter our minds over time becomes who we are.
