Looking for the good...

Choosing to see the positive, just a little clearer and deeper in a world that has so much darkness.

Hi there Champions. Praying you and yours are doing well. My post this evening was actually derived from a conversation I had this past week with someone. During the aforementioned conversation, the person I was conversing with told me that if they were on trial for a crime during the jury selection, they would be sure to pick me to be a juror.

It was then followed with a chuckle and a small explanation.

The explanation they provided for selecting me, was because they would be sure to get off because I always look for the good in people.

Keep in mind though the comment was made in jest, it certainly had a dash of sarcasm that was obvious.

I pondered over the conversation for several days. I couldn't understand why it bothered me so. Then viola...this evening during my quiet time with God, He revealed it to me.

You see...the world we live in has enough darkness and I feel that on so many levels. I was put in a position during the conversation that challenged my beliefs. I felt as though I was being made fun of for choosing to see the good in others. This troubled me, it stung a bit.

However, after much reflection

( with Gods guidance)I landed on, I would rather illuminate some of the darkness in this world with the light of Jesus living and working through me. I am now thankful for the conversation. I will continue to look for the good in others.

I'm certainly glad that Jesus took a sinner like me and had a heart of forgiveness and saw something worth saving.

Champions, I encourage you to look for the good! It certainly doesn't mean we condone the bad, but let's leave the decision making, the judging of good and bad to God!

That's my two cents for today. Be blessed, bold, and encouraged!

Until next time, I've got nothing but love for you ❤️

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
