Just leave the playground...

Making a decision to walk away from an environment that fosters a toxic situation. To walk away from relationships that stunt your personal growth. Remove yourself from relationships and situations that damage both your mental and physical health.

This morning Champions as I seek discernment, God is always so good to provide what I need. I can only speak from my personal life experiences. So here goes...

Sometimes we just need to leave the playground. Stay with me. If the playground becomes unfair or toxic it will do us more harm than good. Our world has become extremely toxic in many areas. Let's face it, some of us deal with these toxic behaviors in our own families. I arrived at a realization that, I don't have to play on a playground that is detrimental to my growth. Being a good person doesn't involve being a doormat.

I ask you to look around? Check your inner circle, be aware of current events in the world around us and proceed accordingly. Yes, sometimes we need to leave the playground and embrace our life's journey through the eyes of our loving Heavenly Father! It's time to wake up and be an active participant in our own lives.

But avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless. As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him, knowing that such a person is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned.

Titus 3: 9-11
