just another day

My thoughts went to how easy it is to take the day for granted. I have to admit, I've been guilty of squelching my day by discounting the extraordinary before it even beings. Life can be very humbling, don't you agree? Each day we are given, that we are blessed with, is the opportunity for something amazing. To look at the day as just another, or like the one before, is actually short changing God. Today is a gift. A gift many will not receive. I don't know about you but I'm going to open that gift and enjoy every minute of it. Today isn't just another day!

The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.
