I'll fix your little red wagon.

To get back at someone for something they have done.

Champions, beautiful morning to you!

This morning I suppose my mind traveled a bit to a saying I used to hear my mother say. I haven't really heard it much in the present time. I always thought it was quite comical when she would say it. Typically it was directed at something my father had done. Looking back, I giggle at the memory.

Full circle to modern day...

Actually, it speaks of revenge or getting back at someone for something they have done. When you break it down it isn't very funny after all. Boy, don't we live in a time where we like to hold on to revenge? To get even, to settle a score?

Goodness, that's exhausting.

Total transparency >

Yes, I think I've been guilty a time or two for wanting to fix someone's little red wagon. Interestingly enough, I can't pin point anything specific. Makes me think that... just maybe, what ever the issue was that made me feel a little twisted shouldn't have taken up my time to begin with.

So wrapping it up this morning with this. Revenge is heavy, a time stealer, and a joy sucker. Pray over those that hurt you, or that you feel have done you wrong. Give it to God and use your little red wagon to pull a child, a grandchild. Possibly tote some flowers to plant in the yard. I think that just makes better sense! Be blessed!

Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing.

1 Peter 3:9
