I love when I wake with a mindset of energy and enthusiasm! A river came to my mind. Ever changing but continously flowing. Stronger current in certain places, rapids, rolling, moving, vibrant, and alive. This is just good stuff. Too often we try to control, to steer the river. We just need to stop and let God be God! It isn't our place to steer the river. I say we take a white water rapids ride with this day that has been given to us. That we throw our hands in the air and let God guide the river. So here it is...
When those strong forces come against you, me, us, let's give them to God! When we feel like we are being pulled under by the current, let's give it to God! When the falls ahead look to be overbearing possibly even unable to survive, give it to God! Let the river flow and let God have control.
Simply, don't try to steer the river, let God do the driving!
He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water,
Which yields its fruit in its season
And its leaf does not wither;
And in whatever he does, he prospers.
