Goodness, assuming intentions was brought to my spirit this morning. This is a two part issue actually.
First assuming...I have found over time that assuming is a recipe for things that very rarely are true or even come to fruition.
Secondly, intentions...can we really distinguish intentions without opinions? Thinking this over this morning, I have to be totally transparent, I have assumed the intentions of others in my life before.
Lean in...in those moments while I was assuming, I was blocking my blessings.
Yes, I believe we can become so focused or fixated on distractions that we can totally miss the blessings that are meant for us.
So when you feel that assuming feeling creeping in, bounce your thoughts to things above.
After all, the only one we can control is ourselves, so why even waste energy on the assumptions or intentions of others? We have enough, just dealing with our own actions. Hope this helped someone this morning, I know I needed the refresher.
