With this being the last week in March and reflecting on the winds that naturally come with the month, I thought about the trees. I thought about how many stand under the winds that come their way. I thought about how some topple over under the winds, when the roots aren't deep. It's kinda like people isn't it? When we are rooted and grounded in God's word, we can withstand the winds when they come. However, when we aren't firmly planted, we just might topple over. Nature is an excellent teacher. With this being Holy Week, reflection and quiet moments spent with God are a bit sweeter. How deep are your roots Champions? Can they withstand the storms that this life brings? We have a hope certain in Jesus. He paid the ultimate price for each one of us. Allow those roots to dig in and go down deep. Stand tall and strong when the winds come because you can. Lean in...we know the end of the story.
Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
