What is waiting for us just on the other side of our comfort zone?
Over time I've come to the conclusion that being comfortable does make one feel safe. I've also come to realize that even though it is a feeling of safety ( my comfort zone) that there isn't much growth when I'm camped out there.
I really took some time to think about this thing called " comfort zone "
Could it be, that when we remain in it, that we are relying on our own strength and abilities? Sometimes stepping out and doing something different or new can be scary. If you are one to consistently step outside of the box, I applaud you. However, if you're like me and proceed with caution I challenge you as I am myself.
First things first, go to God in prayer. Determine where he wants you to go. Line up your actions and desires with His will and listen for that still small voice. Living outside of our comfort zone isn't something we have to do every second of the day but I do encourage you as I'm encouraging myself to invite growth into your life/ my life. Sometimes we have to go where we haven't gone in faith to experience what God has in store for our lives. Walk in faith today! Be blessed and grow!
