This morning I chose changed. Simple enough, right? Looking at this topic from the perspective of within. As I think back to a time not so long ago and then look at the present day, I lift my hands in praise! You see there was a time in my life when I didn't make the best decisions. Looking back, my life was driven by self motivation not God inspired.

Don't get me wrong, I knew of God but I didn't know Him, know Him. Any relationship takes time and effort. It's no different with growing our relationship with God. As my want tos began to change. So did my actions and my daily decisions. I would run across family members and friends that I hadn't seen in a while and I would hear, "You've changed." At first it kinda stung a little and to be very transparent, I would become a little defensive. Then one day, my eyes were opened and it hit me like a ton of bricks. They were noticing the outward signs of an inward happening. Champions, keeping it real...I fail daily in one area or another but my recovery time to get back on track has improved tremendously over time. Now, when someone says, " you've changed. " I silently smile inside, look up, and give God the glory! A great rule to live by, is to better than the person you were yesterday! Let the light of Christ shine through you today, I dare you!

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.
