My mind traveled to simplistic and real this morning. Simply, just be yourself. I see so many people trying to be something they're not. I suppose there was a time in my life where I did this as well. However, over time and with God's patience and guidance, I've learned that no one can be a better me, than me. Listen closely...no one can be a better you, than you. So we're landing on, just be yourself this morning. It's easy to look at someone else and think they have it all together. Interestingly enough, we only see what someone allows us to see on the outside. God sees our heart. He knows our intentions. He knows our strengths and yes our weaknesses. We live in a world of constant competition and comparing ourselves to others. Can we just let that go? When we continuously adapt to fit into a mold that wasn't meant for us, we shrink our God given talents. The only person we should ever try to be better than, is the person we were yesterday. I have a little secret for you...God made you, you're something special in a big way! Never forget that and walk today with that authenticity. Be you, with a splash of Bam!
