Be good, Do good!
Reflecting on this morning's topic and letting it sink into my spirit. I landed on this...simply, what we are on the inside is what spills over to the outside. Goodness comes from God. Staying connected to him, being in prayer and reading his word is paramount in absorbing goodness.
Think about it 💭
what we do> our daily actions, is what we become. Inevitably that is who we are. What ever we put into a vessel is what that vessel will hold and what that vessel can and will be able to distribute when the content is shared.
At a very early age we learn right from wrong. Now, depending on our information sources and influences, we may get what right looks like distorted. So what do we do? We go to the one that Created us. We look to him for guidance. We put our actions up against what he says in his word, and ask ourselves if they line up? Additionally, never forget motive. What is our driving force? To do good, to get noticed...with that look at me attitude isn't what it's all about. To do good because it's the right thing to do, now that will bring you to an entirely different place. God is good! God is great! Let him guide you down the path of goodness! Then you can't go wrong!
Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
