Appreciate

To recognize the full worth of something. To be grateful, thankful for. To value or regard highly.

In the stillness of the morning, I lift up my eyes, my heart, my hands, in praise! Starting today with appreciation. Starting today with a heart full and overflowing. Starting today with, I love you Lord! Will you pause for a moment and join me Champions?

What ever season you are in, appreciate the journey. As I was reflecting on that sentence, I admit... I first had to ask for forgiveness. I can only speak for myself here but maybe you can relate. There is certain things that happen in my day to day that I really don't appreciate and wish I could avoid all together. There are certain things in my life that may seem minuscule at times but they are mountain movers. Appreciation, self reflection here at it's finest, the irritants we face daily ( traffic, house work, jobs, errands, ) the list goes on. Being transparent, I'm not over the top crazy about quite a few things I experience on a daily. We have all been there, ready to go out the door and you spill your coffee or your kindergartner decides to throw up in the car, or you have a flat tire, or... During those moments, during those moments, do we rise to a level of appreciation? I can honestly admit, I have failed numerous times during those moments. However, this morning, God spoke to me in a new way. As I was having my private, personal time with him, he said

" appreciate everything, look for the good, seek the lesson, and hold my hand through it all!" Champions, if you have a heart to receive this post as you start your day, oh what a day you'll have! I challenge you today as I am myself to find appreciation in the things that make you crazy. It's easy to appreciate the things that are great and awesome. I'm speaking of those things that are not so much great or awesome. Look up and receive his peace, guidance, and direction! You will be so glad you did, pinky promise! Hugs and candy canes!

The Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
