This morning I was thinking about a sweet memory from yesterday. You see our littlest has a birthday coming up this week. She wanted to get her nails done for her birthday. So off to the nail salon we went. Pedicures are a special treat that her and I share on occasion. I had the sweetest technician. She had the happiest disposition. Her face had a natural glow, and yes there was a twinkle in her wrinkles. Such a beautiful lady. I remember thanking God for allowing me to recognize her beautiful face. Here's the thing. To some people, she may not have been anything special. However, I was able to feel a little bit of the life she had lived in the lines that were now at home on her face. When I was getting ready for bed last night, I took a peek in the mirror and thought, Lord, let there be a twinkle in my wrinkles so I can touch others. Embrace every line Champions, with age comes wisdom.
