Love

HELLO Champions, happy Sunday morning! Today's topic..." LOVE" might not be discussed how you think. Do I have your interest? Well here we go.

Love, not as a noun but as a verb! Love is action. Even when, listen closely, we really aren't feeling it!

I have been there friends. Why is it so easy to love those who love us back but so extremely hard to love those that ruffle our feathers so to speak? I don't know about you but this is a question I've had to ponder a time or two. When emotions take over, why does logic typically go out the window? When I get in this state of mind and unfortunately at times I still do, I make the situation or issue worse on myself by dwelling on the small stuff. That warm fuzzy feeling we so often relate love to isn't always warm and fuzzy. And by the way, I'm not just referring to your mate. This could be other relationships in your life. It could also be the actions shown to a total stranger. When we feel like someone has done something against us we revert back to what I call the terrible twos syndrome. If you don't have this issue, God bless you but I'm being very transparent here. I have and at times still do. My heart knows how I should act but I let my head get in the way. If you can't say amen just say ouch! Now, crazy thing is...who does this terrible two state of mind truly hurt? I will just leave that right there. Champions, take action over your life. We are here but for a moment. I don't know about you but I think we all could use a little more love! The actions that you display when you just aren't feeling it about a situation, person or circumstance will help you to see the level of qrowth within you.

Today, let's practice turning love into action. Together, managing our mind and controlling our actions. We Can!

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. Love does not demand it's own way. Love is not irritable, and keeps no record of when it has been wronged. It is never glad about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

1 Corinthians 13: 4-7
